Volunteer with us

Why not join in with the Adventure? its good for young people and #Goodforyou too!

It doesn't have to be every week but anytime you could give will make a huge impact on young people in the community.

Whether you can do once a week, once a month or once a year, 2nd Fareham is a great place for adults to 'play the game of scouting' - as Baden-Powell himself described it.

This can be anything from helping with building upkeep, helping out on boating sessions or just coming along to teach a skill one evening

If you are interested just let us know and we'll be more than happy to have a conversation. Fill in the form below and we'll be in touch.

Anyone 18 or over working with us more than about once per month or coming to an overnight event needs DBS clearance which is kicked off by submitting an Occasional Helper or adult leader application.

Our award-winning training scheme for volunteers means that adults get as much from Scouts as young people. Our approach focuses on what you want to get out of volunteering with Scouts, while respecting how much time you can offer. Over 90% of Scout volunteers say that their skills and experiences have been useful in their work or personal life.
